Simple Breath to Calm the Mind: Dirgha Breath

This simple, but ancient breathing technique, is designed to give the mind something to focus on while you calm the central nervous system and lower blood pressure. Dirgha Pranayama, or Complete Breath in English, is a basic 3 part breath that engages all parts of the lungs and the focus of the mind so that the body and thoughts can both get the rest they deserve. Have a Breath or Yoga question? Let us know, and your idea could be the subject of the next video!
